SK Herefords is a family run farm with Phil & Dawn Keppler, their daughter Alana and her husband Zach Welker and business partner Dave Schubel. Together, we are proud to represent the sixth generation of a farming family, passionately working to ensure that our practices not only yield the finest meats but also contribute positively to our community and environment.

Meet the "K" in SK Herefords

I am the “K” in SK Herefords, running the operation alongside my wife Dawn, our daughter Alana, her husband Zach, and my business partner Dave Schubel. Together, we are proud to represent the sixth generation of a farming family, passionately working to ensure that our practices not only yield the finest meats but also contribute positively to our community and environment.

Our Core

Our farm is situated along the picturesque Oak Orchard Creek, a pristine waterway that flows directly into Lake Ontario. Recognizing our unique location, we have implemented numerous conservation practices to protect the creek and its surroundings. Buffer strips and permanent fencing prevent our cattle from nearing the water, preserving its cleanliness and ensuring it remains a haven for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and swimming.
